Job Responsibilities:
- Focus, commit, complete and deliver task assigned according to the project timeline
- Build and maintain websites using WordPress
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and monitoring the performance of websites
- Stay updated with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
- Take responsibility and plan WordPress development lifecycle and development process including architecture, plugins, version control, staging and production
- Responsible for web page’s UX design and third-party integration
- Support the team in all phases of the website development lifecycle including; analysis, design, delivery of functionality, testing, and support
- Provide effective solutions, handle multiple projects efficiently & deliver on time.
- Lead and advocate best WordPress development practices and approach with team members.
You are a great fit if you have:
- A minimum Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in Web Development
- Prefer candidates who familiar with PHP MVC Framework
- Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector
- Experience in web development and scripting using WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Must be specialized in WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel & other Web Development
- Strong learning skills in advanced web technology, third party framework, payment gateway & etc
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Good understanding Apache Web Server & Linux OS
- Must have knowledge/experience in Website Support
- Participate in full application development life-cycle
- Understanding of the web technology stack e.g. HTTP, SSL, security, cookies, caches, assets, hosting, domain
- Strong problem solving, great logic, and analytical skills
- Ability to work under own initiative, and lead team members in WordPress development
- Excellent in organization skill and time management
- Experience in educating/training customers in managing websites will be an added advantage
